Cooking some brisket.  Having the whole family over. Should be fun!

Making pastrami on the wsm, then make a bigass Ruben for dinner.

I’m a little pissed that I didn’t get to sleep in.

Cave-man rib-eye & Maryland crab cakes. Just me and my wife today. When my son calls I can rub it in.

I’m doing ribs, shrimp, corn on the cob, green beans, and loaded mashed potatoes. Finishing the night with Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch.

We ended up making some gourmet brats from a specialty place for lunch - my ex brought them down with him and he and I both had some ribs in the freezer so we smoked those for dinner. I had my kids make an orzo salad with dill and feta and some doctored up baked beans to go with it.

For a change, we did not end up with mass quantities of leftovers-something I’ve been trying to avoid since my kids don’t seem to want to eat them and I end up having to toss them. So all in all, I call it a success!!

I grabbed a rack of spares from the freezer, and made candied bacon knots.

Youre going to have to start a separate thread and explain this in more detail. Be sure to @ me too. That’s an order. [emoji2][emoji2]🤣

First attempt at a couple of classics - PSB and ABTs. Both judged delicious by myself and family!
