Green restore and MODS
« on: July 03, 2018, 05:18:53 PM »
This was a 20.00 score that my buddy broke down and restored. Whole frame was repainted.
Table was cracked so he got a nice piece of wood and fixed it.
While at the dump he found a Genesis thermometer and added that.
I gave him the Zav handle to top it off. :)
I think he did a kick as job. How about you fellas?

Very nice looking, grate skills
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Very cool! I love the wood table, and great idea about the thermometer. Nice RRR
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Nicely done restoration. What are you using to water seal that plywood table top? I would if it were me probably use that bar top epoxy stuff and pay particular attention to the edges since water lights wicking along the edges of plywood.

That's a neat looking grill, and the big Gennie thermo is interesting too.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
