Somewhere, someone is up a creek without that.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

That would be the legs for my redhead. 16 gauge ss pipe. Designed to be interchangeable for 6" or 8" wheels.  Shower curtain rods are for shower curtains.

I am also thing about stainless. My thoughts were to fill the leg sockets with a threaded billet and held in place with screws. The legs could be stainless steel with threaded rod that would allow for different sized " Traveler" legs.

The thing is, you can polish aluminum to truly gleam. In that way, it's fancier than SS.

Here it goes. Just need to sand and paint the triangle black. Refinish the handle etc.  Maybe a threaded rod below the axle to stiffen up the legs even more.  As is, the legs and triangle are already much more stiff and stable compare to stock legs and triangle.

Extra holes for a threaded  rod.

I thought the extra holes were for it you elected to swap in 6" wheels, if the holes are 1" apart.

I went with plan b as i have an extra leg that i can swap if need be. I much rather use the 8"  wheels any day.  And yes the holes are  1" apart.

Jules what did you do to accommodate the lug inside the leg sockets?
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need
