Pork Butt Sunday

The WSM had not been fired up in about a month, which was a great excuse to smoke a pork butt.  Nothing fancy. L&S with apple and hickory.  It’s been gray and rainy all week and finally we got some sunshine.  Will share some pulled pix later.

Tell me about it... we've had record high temps, butt a shit load of rain. (At least it ain't snow...) Haven't fired up the grills for too long!! From what I can see, looks like you nailed it!

We got a good result.  Our guests left happy and full[emoji201][emoji1303][emoji16]

Made some appetizers on the performer.   Tater tots wrapped in bacon with a jalapeño slice.   Also made some prosciutto wrapped asparagus, which doesn’t really fit with the meal but sounded good.  Not pictured were some cream cheese Italian sausage stuffed mushroom caps.  I think we had too many appetizers[emoji51].
