So as most of you saw I picked up a Ravenswood winery GGA the other week. Well I like to know "why?" When it comes to the logo grills I have. So I go on the Ravenswood website and send customer service an email asking if they have any information on when it was made or why it was made. Well just got an email back ...... how awesome is that!!!!!

Ravenswood Winery has been sponsoring a “Cork & Pork” side category at the Canadian National BBQ Championship at Whistler BC for many year. My former Teammate won it when we competed in 2010 and him and his wife “Wine Country Q” won it a couple more times. Meals, lodging and lots of wine!

Nice work on digging up some history on that grill Matt.   There is probably a couple of beer drinkers here that will disagree with their comment, "Nothing better than BBQ and a little Zinfandel", but I am X2.

Lol well next time I have some zin on hand I'll have to try it out. But I'm more of a soda or beer bbq guy

Well done. Did it come with the little clip that holds the legs? I have a 1996 GA and it does not have it.

I bought an NIB Black Platinum. It has the ravenswood logo.
I've also seen a WSM with the logo as well..
