Bigger thermometer

Anyone add a bigger thermometer to the kettle lid. I have the premium with 2 inch thermometer but purhased a river country and want to add it. Just not sure if the longer stem will affect cooks by getting in the way like brisket and chicken/turkey.

Also I made a stacker. I thought about putting it on the stacker body but want to use it while grilling too.

I put a River Country on my 22 inch Smokey Mountain smoker.
Now I can read the temp, they are great.

The wsm has a bigger dome so it won't get in the way of a turkey or big chicken.
