Rotisserie and Stir-Fry

I did some rotisserie skirt steak and wiped up some stir-fry on the kettles. Does any one get any use out of the Cast Wok for the Weber?

I don't have the weber wok but do use some cast iron woks and the carbon steel woks along with the vortex great stir fries

Don't have the wok but now I want one. I love stir fry and fried rice. I have a killer fried rice recipe if you want. Got it from an old chinese guy on you tube. Food looks great

I have a plow disk steel wok I like using, but the cast iron wok on my kettle works amazing

Heres the recipe I promised. I absolutely love chinese food and especially fried rice. Since I have found this recipe I have not found a fried rice that can compare to it, even from chinese restaurants. Give it a try and let me know what you think.


Fried rice
3 cups of uncooked rice
1 medium onion diced
1/2 cup frozen peas
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of butter
1 chicken breast diced
1.5 tblspn of chicken oxo powder
1 tspn of pepper
1 large pinch of salt
1 large pinch of garlic salt
1 tablespoons of sesame oil

Cook rice as usual.
Fry diced chicken till 80% cooked.
Scramble eggs and add to chicken.
Add onions and peas and continue to cook.
Add cooked rice and mix well
Add butter, salt, pepper, chicken oxo, and garlic salt.
Mix well and continue to cook.
Add sesame oil and soya sauce.
Mix well and enjoy.
