Spicy sweet & sour Chinese inspired Smoked Pork Ribs
« on: November 18, 2017, 03:19:42 AM »
I love asian food, so decided cooking the ribs using chinese sauces.

I stayed with the 3-2-1 method as it gave great result last week.

I used my Home made usual rub for the first three hours smoke, however applied it on the spicy chinese Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to make it stick to the meat.

After the three hours smoke, wraped the ribs with butter, brown sugar, honey, few more chili sauce and the Ayam Sweet and Sour sauce.

It is currently cooking for two hours more foil wraped.

Will update in two hours :)

Looks interesting.
What is the cut of meat?
It doesn't look like the pork ribs that I am used to.

I like Asian food and would be interested in trying a new way to flavor ribs. I may have to make them just for myself however.

Ain't that the truth about so much of what we do.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
