The one touch sweeps sweeps are aluminized steel, they did make them out of stainless on certain models for awhile. I have a gen 2 performer with stainless sweeps and a otg with stainless sweeps.

Man this SLS is really good ! I never got it out of the kettle since I put it in, cooks almost everything and saves a lot of Charcoal. 

Before each new cook I only have to shake it to remove the ash, and add lit charco to the remaining one from previous cook (Lots).
