Chicken and burgers
« on: September 23, 2017, 08:44:47 PM »
Had a few people over tonight so I thought i would whip up some beer can chickens, burgers and baked beans. On the chickens I used Weber rub, turned them about 45 minutes into the cook and the brushed some sweet baby rays on them when I had about 20 minutes to go.

The burgers were 50/50 beef and pork. I brushed a tbsp of Dales and zesty Italian on each side then cooked them on indirect until they were 20 degrees from medium then seared them.

The beans were bush’s baked beans, original. I fried up some ground beef with onion, garlic and I threw some dales in too. I mixed the beans, beef, molasses, mustard, ketchup, jalapeños and garlic then put the pan on the bottom under the chickens.

I used Weber briquettes in the SnS, maintaining the temp at around 325 with some cherry wood for smoke. The total cook time was about an hour and a half

Sorry, didn’t get a pic of it plated lol
