Kettle gods and kettle karma
« on: September 07, 2017, 08:33:46 AM »
So a few weeks ago I found a 18 wsm  in Vacaville for 20 bucks. Hit up my old co worker that lives out there and asked if he could pick it up for me. He says "hell yea but if it was anyone else is keep that for my self lol" so we talk a little longer I know he's a big weber and bbq guy so I say " you know what if you wanna keep it I would not be to heart broken about it" he's  a cool ass dude and always helped me at work when I needed it.

Searching the usual sell ems  and come across 2 adds one for a 22 one touch gold with a slide aside and one for a 18 both down the street. Email both go figure it's the same guy. So set up a meet and boom

The wsm needs grates but is all there other wise.

Today was a good day

That's awesome! Much better than the lid bale IMO. Look how out of the way that lid is. Congrats again.

Nice - I picked up a $30 WSM in Vacaville last week from Letgo. Vacaville must be the land of cheap WSMs.

God and Buddha are both Weber guys? Who knew? Happenstance or divine intervention?
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

@LiquidOcelot

I believe the Slide Aside is made for a 22, that's why the lid went so far back
Try it on a 22 and report back..
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..
