Wings on the 26r
« on: August 29, 2017, 04:42:18 PM »
K-comp coal. Half BBQ half homemade jalapeņo honey mustard. 40 wings.  Some of my best. With lid cracked it held 600 for about 45 minutes. Turned once at a half hour. Total time was 45 minutes.  Both kbb and k comp are great for sustained high heat cooks.

very nice...Love me some wings...
I find I get higher temps when using KBB in the Vortex rather than RO briqs...

Each one has it's place where it shines...

Thanks guys. Wings are the best. Always a favorite with the family and fun to do. Plus you can always change up flavors.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
