Good Kettle Day
« on: July 20, 2017, 10:30:49 AM »
Today was a first for me. Picked up two kettles.

The first was a Red 18" H Code kettle.  I found it at an estate sale about ten minutes from my office.  Swung by and picked it up.  There was no ash pan and the sweeps are completely rusted through.  I will need to replace those. It also has some battle scars and the handles are about to fall off. However, it still has good bones and will look good next to my red MT.

Next I found a brand new in box Copper smokey joe.  I wasn't really in the market for a SJ, and don't LOVE the copper color, but couldn't pass it up.

Here are some quick pics I took:

Looking for Blue Mastertouch or Blue Performer.

Currently have: Performer (Green); 22.5 Mastertouch (Red); 26.75 OTG;  22.5 WSM; 18.5 WSM; Jumbo Joe; SJS (Green Uline); SJG (used for Mini WSM); Blue SS Performer; Blue MBH; Summit

Looks great. The 18" is very underrated but they are great cookers. Especially the red ones.
