Birthday conundrum....
« on: June 17, 2017, 03:09:34 AM »
Well my birthday is next weekend. The wife knows the best gift for me will center around my SSP, but has no idea what to get, and is afraid that she will get the wrong thing even if I send her a direct link.

So, I have been charged with getting my own present.

Knowing what you all know now, is there an accessory that rises above the rest?

At this point I have a Maverick 732, and a mini chimney.

I use my SSP more often as a smoker than a grill. I am intrigued by the Fire Butler, anyone have experience with it? I like having the entire grate surface available for big cooks.

Thanks for your input.

How about a rotisserie, or a cajun bandit stacker, or a Slow n' Sear.

Happy Birthday.

If you don't have a Thermapen, add that to the list first. Otherwise, Like @Mr.CPHo says, a Slow 'n Sear, A Cajun Bandit roti ring or stacker would do nicely.

+1 on the Thermapen.  My most used and treasured instrument.  Next would be the rotisserie.
