Weber Kettle drums?

As a drummer and a fan of Weber grills, this video stopped me in my tracks. The Violent Femmes Jamming to Gone Daddy Gone, with their drummer drumming on a Weber kettle.

I have an old ratted out 18 that my drummer is gonna put a snare in for acoustic gigs. Fits perfect too

Bottom vent open or closed? Definitely will affect the sound.
