I took a couple grills to a friends earlier today and will be helping grill. He sent me this picture all excited. I'm not there yet.

Lighter fluid in my grills. Oh well. Guess I have to take one for the team.

 Look at that! Big flames but no smoke.    Hopefully he did not pour lighter fluid directly into your kettles.

It all worked out. It was a birthday party for his father in law. He made a bunch of chicken legs that were great.  Despite his use of lighter fluid, he is a seasoned kettle chef. I made a bunch of abt's and several teriyaki pork skewers.  There were several other non grill appetizers as well. We cooked for over 60 people. It was a lot of fun.

I'm sure it smelled fantastic (I like the smell of lighter fluid on charcoal) however it has to burn longer for the taste to not be there. Hopefully it wasn't. Food looks good too.
