It's finished!

Well... I said it was finished, however I'm still looking for a hammered CL Performer to cannibalize for it's gas assist. Am in no hurry.

if you just got the parts alone it would be like 50 bucks. OR you could pick up a cheap go anywhere gas and use the internals from that

For some reason... I came up with $85 - $ 90 for parts at ereplacementparts.com. Will double check my homework.

That's a good idea regards the gas go anywhere. Thank you! Is it basically like the gas assist on a Performer?

It's now an XL Touch-N-Go.

Picked up a used Performer with Touch-N-Go and a busted plastic table for $100. Replaced the bowl & lid (several Oh S*** moments - you know how that goes) on my Performer (went from green to black) & used the gas assist for the XL. Sold what was left for $70.

Getting there..... gotta work on a cover for it.
