Weber Accessory - Squirrel Guard
« on: April 07, 2017, 06:24:33 PM »
I ran across a Weber accessory that I had never seen before and I had to have it.  No date on the box, but based on the style I would guess early 80s. The pictures pretty much tell the story...

The box:

These are the guard which is a SJ lid:

And the hanging hardware:

Not sure what my plans are for it, but if anyone has a Weber birdfeeder, I'm looking...

@Jocool, any interest in selling yours  ;D

this seems like something my grandpa would have had at one point or another. they have a hill behind the house and he had built a bird feeder village. even had a squirrel seat that had a corn coby stand

There is no living thing I hate more than squirrels. Kudos to Weber for aiding the fight. Brothers in arms!  >:(  ;D

PS- I'm sure the guard was a failure.

@Neil_VT00   @Bob BQ  I'll give you both $20 if you get together on this, fill the damn thing with seed, hang it up in a real tree and get a few pics with some real live birds and/or squirrels attacking it. Then you can put the pieces back in the boxes never to be seen again. C'mon! @Jeff is, to this date, the only one that gave us some great pics of a Galley Que on a real boat on real water. It's your turn!
