26" rotisserie?
« on: February 18, 2017, 02:51:51 PM »
I just got my first Weber this week. It is a used 26" that is in great shape. I got it at an awesome price, so I couldn't pass it up.  I didn't realize until I bought it that there aren't many accessories available for it. Has anyone rigged a rotisserie in a 26" kettle. I searched the forum quickly but found nothing. Sorry if it has been covered. Thanks for any input.

Thanks. I bought it from my brother. He bought it new a few years ago and I doubt it had been cooked on 10 times.

Cajun Bandit ring

Just an FYI, a Weber 9891 Cradle rotisserie for the Genesis gas grills is an almost perfect fit on the Cajun bandit ring and the 26'rs.

I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!

That's a great first kettle. Way to skip the 18 and 22 and go straight to the 26!
