Not really, at a point in time I had a NIB 22" Simpsons grill, and 2 Simpsons Smokeys. It's just nice to see those pictures.

I'm glad you're wanting to learn the history of Weber. That's what makes it interesting. I can't explain for everyone here, but perhaps we may be be somewhat mental.... Why do some of us have 20-30-50 grills?There really is no explanation, but it is a journey we are all willing to take.

@walley_eye no they are baked on just like the paint. there's not even a lip on the edges like a decal or if it was painted on after the fact
