these aren't short at all, some call these dinosaur cut!!  This isnt being cooked on my weber but i love beef ribs so much i just had to share with my WKC friends!!  i picked up a nice loot from Restaurant Depot today so i had to cook up some ribs.  i got a boat load of massive meaty short ribs for $3 a pound, too!!  i'm cooking them at around 300 with some oak smoke and they're covered with Plowboys Bovine Bold.  I'll try to get some more shots later on.

There's so much meat on those buggers, it can't stay up on top of the bone !!!!

Hence...."The Slump"

Nice looking meat there! Do you prefer the Bovine over the original Plowboys?

I've only used Plowboy's Yardbird and Bovine bold and love them both.  Yardbird is great on pork or chicken.  lately I've been using bovine bold on all my beef, it's just that good!!!!

Those look pretty good! I've got some in the freezer (not yet cooked) that I need to do one of these days. I just had some trimmed from a standing rib roast we had for Easter.
kettles, smokers...
