The other week
@Kneab posted a lime in Chicago. I wasn't in the market, but couldn't get over how good of shape it was in. I've only seen one lime before, the 18" @BobBq has and remembered how cool of a color it is. I talked with the seller for a few days and also with
@Jeff looking for some guidance and then to agent. Thankyou very much, brother. The rest as they say is kettle history!
My youngest has been home from school sick this week and I'm working evenings so only time I've had to do anything is after I get home from work. Got her all done today though. Basic cleanup, but decided to touch up the handle this time. First time I've done the handles. A light sand with 200 grit and a little clear gloss spar urethane. 3 coats. I liked it so well, I've got all the kids getting their handles done! Ha!
On another note,
@Cellar2ful had pm'd me a week or so back about a Christmas ornament that he had posted and I had commented on mentioning I'd like one. He asked if I had got one and if not he'd like to send one to me! He also said that he was sending some pork rub for me to try out! Thankyou very much for the gift and most importantly, the thought, Jim. Also, for the item #'s for the leg caps I was trying to track down.
Today was a gloomy day so these aren't the worlds best pics, not near as good as some of our members pics, but she's done, cleaned up and ready to be presented to the club!
And my gift from Jim
Have a good one fella's!
