Interesting, very surprised we still see this. I would think the process is very controlled to avoid this.

Maybe Weber has been reading up on this thread and is trying to get some of us to start buying new kettles. Not kettles that they already sold off 30+ years ago. Bring back the old colors Weber and build them like you used too with orange peel and all.

Occurrence. If you see peel in your car finish it's a bad thing. It seems to show character in kettles  8)
