1970's Hunter Green Gas Kettle
« on: October 22, 2016, 11:30:23 AM »
Finally got the Hunter Green Gas Kettle cleaned up.  Refinished the original handle,  cleaned the base, and put NOS 1970's wheels on.  Looking good.  Gonna buy the propane tank tomorrow.

Love that color! Where is the date code (if any) on gas kettles? Being dark green I would place it at 1978 at the oldest, 1980 at the "newest".

Yeah, '78

The lid vents (louvers) and the base of the grill changed right after that.
