Sausage and pancakes

Cooked some sausage and pancakes on this non stick mat that I got on amazon to see how it worked and it did the job.

Looks like the grease can run off the edge and start a big fire? What temp is the mat safe to?

Mat says its safe up to 500 but I  was cooking about 350 and I was cooking indirect.
