pizza on the performer

I am still figuring out if I want to get the pizzaque or kettlePizza kits. Im wondering if people have run into any problems while using either of these on the performers. Do the rollers melt? If so, do you have to build the fire on the table side to the rollers dont melt?

any info would be great, along with reviews of the 2 pizza kits. Still up in the air on which I want to buy.

If I get around to getting a pizza kit I'll probably try and find a CL kettle to dedicate to it. One that's a definite cooker and not a looker. Then I won't worry about the high temp issues.

Whichever pizza kit you get, you can't really use the lid bale anyway. If you use a bit of caution, the the lid bale rollers are not necessary. They are easy enough to take off for a high heat cook.
