Waffles on the Performer
« on: July 24, 2016, 11:14:54 AM »

I set up using the new style charcoal baskets wanting the heat more on the edges then in the middle of the iron

Temp was around 400
Cook on one side for about one minute and then flip the iron , give it a couple more minutes and then check , cook to your desired tenderness .

Family's still sleeping so the cook gets first dibs [emoji106]

Some bacon and eggs

Nice !
In my mind's eye, I can see that breakfast up in the forest !

Be careful though, if Bigfoot gets a whiff, he'll be comin' in hot.

Bacon IN the waffles:)
This is a fairly cheap hobby when you consider the time  with family and friends and how many meals are created.

It's a Rome Industries waffle iron , under $20.00 on Amazon , pre seasoned as well . I re seasoned it just in case and it's worked perfectly with no sticking what so ever . Some may find the two separate pieces clumsy to work with but once you get a system going it works fine

I've had the same iron for a while now. Yet to use it. Gonna have to break it out.
Still need a 22” yellow
