Bacon Wrapped Sirloin
« on: March 08, 2013, 07:37:07 PM »
Mrs. JavaHog picked up some Bacon wrapped sirloin medallions at Target.

I doused them with Plowboys Bovine Bold while the charcoal on the Maroon Performer came up to temp.

Turned them after 4 minutes.

Baked some sweet potatoes and added some bread to complete the dinner.

The best steak I have had in a long time.  ;D

BTW,  that's my glass from the Great American Beer Festival.  I have volunteered at that fall event for 2 years now.  If you are interested here's some stats on the beer festival:

  • 4 Sessions over 3 days
  • 2700 beers
  • 580 breweries
  • 3400 volunteers
  • 49,000 attendees
  • $55.00 ticket

Cheers and Beers,
Tracy

Looks good! I used bovine bold for the first time a few days ago and loved it. Good stuff!
