I have had good luck with mine, the longest cook I did so far was 8 hrs. cooking a pork butt hot and fast, I cooked the pork butt at 350 for 3 hrs. then let temp drop to 300 for 4 1/2 hrs. because I didn't want it done so soon, here's a picture of the pork butt and what was left of charcoal the next day, I loaded up to the diffuser because I was going to cook it hot and fast and didn't want to have to add charcoal.
