SNS ribs in the 26er
« on: April 15, 2016, 11:31:08 AM »
The more I'm using my SNS the more I like it.  Did some ribs yesterday on my 26er with my SNS.  Usually I smoke for two hours then wrap but this time I left them unwrapped for most of the cook, only wrapping for about 45 minutes after 5 hours unwrapped to move things along and get them done at a reasonable dinner time.

Hey Mike, do you think 3 full racks would fit on that setup?

When I look at your last pic all I see is flavor.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I'm pretty sure 3 would fit.  I could do 5 of them laying flat with my elevated secon grate.  Could probably do 4 with a rib rack without any problems.

They look perfect.  Great job!  Just got three racks of spares that I'm going to cook next week.  I can cook three on my 22'' with a rack no problem.  I usually use a 2x2 or 2x2x1 snake.  I'm sure on your 26er you could do at least 5 easy.

Look great-hoping that the slow n sear will be available in UK soon-really impressed with feedback from users-must be good on fuel as well?
