Since grill grates are not available in India . I went ahead and tried to custom made some. I combined the best of cast iron material with the grill grates design to get the best of both world.
Currently its a small size prototype which is performing well. After couple of more runs i will make them to 22.5 inch size to fit on my mastertouch. So far let me tell you.. the design of grill grates and cast iron marriage really works. If u into hot and fast this thing churns out some mean sear marks and real juicy meat.
This is essentially a piece cut of cast iron with raised bars of cast iron welded to it. It works... nd gets very hot..
