Jerk Buttermilk Chicken Wings

Did this last night and they were so good I didn't change a thing. Took some jerk seasoning and Hot Slap Yo Momma rub and mixed it with buttermilk. Popped it in a bag with the wings and into the fridge for 6 hours or so. Smoked them offset with a chunk of Scotch barrel for 40 minutes or so then spread my coals out and grilled them for about 10 minutes:



These were pop off the bone juicy, smokey with just the right bit of heat:



I'm sure Bubbles would approve:



Been doing this Buttermilk brine method for over a year now and like consistent results.

Looks great @MrHoss! Did some wings the other night. If yours were as good as mine (I know they were ;) )  I know you ate well! Great cook!

Great looking wings Hoss. Great minds think alike, I've been brining my wings in milk for sometime now. Add whatever profile I'm going for and brine overnite, then pat dry and dry rub before going on the grill or smoker. Next time around I'll be using a lil of the wood you sent down.
