BC Spring Salmon Filets
« on: September 15, 2015, 07:07:27 AM »
My father in law went on a fishing trip recently and caught a few really nice spring salmon. He had it cut and vac-packed and then kindly shared a nice big chunk of it with us 8) I didn't snag too many pics ahead of time but you get the idea... I was finally able to test out the "sweet coffee rub" I received from @Winz awhile back. Well Winz, you need to change the label on your jars to (INSANELY Good on Fish!) - It was some of the best salmon we've ever had!

Thanks to you we'll be having salmon again VERY soon [emoji106]

Cheers for looking!

Matt

Hey Matt, glad you liked it.  I will send the recipe your way.

That Salmon looks outstanding.  Salmon, carrots, and brown rice - a nice healthy meal.   Awesome cook up!

Great looking color on the Salmon !!!   I almost always use a cedar plank and cedar chips for smoke (it's the only time I dunk my wood chips).  We love PacNW salmon and eat it at least once a week.  We side w/ pilaf and fresh veg or red & green slaw.  The carrots look to be tomorrows side at our place, thanks for the idea.           SJ
