Episodes 1,2, and 3 show it in the background just to the right along with a set of Euro kettles.

Here is the saga of the grill itself:

It's an extra.

Hopefully it doesn't start doing porn to launch it's "career ".  That would be sad.
I only use kettles with lid bales.

That's a nice turnout for it. I never saw those threads last year, I had to check out of here for awhile after the debacle and to this day feel like I let you down. I know I let you down. I went through 3 very tense phone calls and several emails with those fucktards before they just ignored me. It's not about "me," I know that, but still.

Earlier this year when chuck s bought his new M/T I asked him if I could keep the box, just in case. But I don't necessarily look forward to agenting kettles any more. And that's a shame.

Please do not feel that way ATS! UPS are the ones that screwed the pooch on that one not you!!

It's pretty sad that a company will take your money to ship an item, yet if THEY damage it they do everything they can to give you the run around in order to get off Scott free. They make you feel as if it was something the sender did when clearly the box was neglected and possibly even abused during transport. It cost me $150 to ship it, and they never refunded a single cent - all I got was a smashed up MT. :-\ This had everything to do with UPS and nothing to do with you!

In the end the kettle gods made things right anyways! I was able to repair the damage to the best of my abilities and then traded it to Weber Canada for my Ivory. A lesson in patience but when you ship 30+ kettles in a year its bound to happen eventually...

All is well!! You stepped up generously and offered to help me out - that's the only bit of the story that really matters. Thank you again!

Double, Triple, Quadruple, back this up......I watched that shit unfold & it was a company heister / schiester all the way.....you can pack something bullet-proof & they'll still fuck it up sometimes.....I've dealt with UPS for over thirty years & I've seen THINGS...... :o
Mostly, they do pretty good, but it does happen & sometimes they get right on it, make thing right somehow & sometimes they don't......thanks, been waiting to speak up about this particular situation......

A-t-S, you were NOT the wrong person to do this, not in the wrong, did nothing wrong & did a good deed by stepping up to send things along & do what a bunch of people like Brian, LighteningBoltz & many others here do all the time.....one unfortunate incident (not your part) does not create a character..........
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

Thanks both for the kind words. I'll tell ya though, it sounds like Weber is who saved the day by swapping it for a new Ivory, not that they particularly cared that it wasn't in perfect shape. Sometimes, we all (even Weber) will do whatever it takes to get a shiny red kettle.

I like the cooking episodes on Facebook, but "DJ BBQ" is a nightmare!

Super cool Matt!
Not nearly as cool as your attitude about how all this played out (I remember following all that as it happened) and not even nearly as cool as your responses to ATS!

I've never had a kettle shipped, but ATS I would totally trust you!

It's this kind of stuff that makes this club so great, and how awesome everyone I've ever dealt with on this site is, that makes me a proud member. RRR, emphasis on the respect!

Okay, enough of the sappy shit, I'm gonna go order a shirt!
