I agree, it's kind of like a consultant - points out a problem that exists, but isn't really a problem, then sells you a solution.

Not really a lot of info, a couple vague youtube vids from Lori Frazee. I've seen Jason Whitcomb of the Unknown BBQ hinge comment on it.

Supposedly its some type "gravity feed system" and from what I can see it may have some Vortex type action going for it?
