Whoa! This is a rare bird. The rim of the lid appear yellow ochre to my eyes but the rest of it appears white with black squiggles? Like everyone else I can't wait to see more of it. At the moment I am stumped on which one it is. Has to be 1950s era. That's the find of the day! [emoji41]

The Ambassador?!

OP's pic looks more white than a "Yellow Ochre" to me, but who knows...

Did the Ambassador ever have the triangle pan ?

Let's not forget most of the black customs we have seen the squiggly lines have yellowed over the years... Maybe this is the mirror universe/reverse custom. At any rate, this is a sweet grill!

If it is, in fact, a "Custom", with squggles, it may be the first 22" one ever seen......looks more like scratches in the finish or a lite bit of rash to me.....

This is an interesting one for sure! At first I thought scratches as well but when you blow up the photo the lines seem so random with no consistency, and they are also spread out evenly over the section of kettle we can see at least. Could be dog hair ;D ;D

And I'm thinking the yellowish section around the rim could just be built up junk from over the years that shows up a lot more on the white?

That would be cool if it was a custom.  I can definitely imagine the guy in the old WBMW factory having some fun and making a white custom.

Here's a 22 custom I found on instagram a few months ago...

Hopefully @Idahawk can chime in - but I believe in his interview with the ex-Weber employee the fellow mentioned that they did multiple variations of the custom including both white and yellow swirls.

@MaxBobcat That's a stunning custom! I wonder who it belongs to?
