Trip to the Body Shop
« on: July 21, 2015, 05:21:33 AM »
The granddaughter and I were rolling a 10 foot galvanized stock tank that we use for a pool to the front yard to hose it out before filling last week. We let the tank get away from us and dropped it on the vintage Red 1994 22 Inch Kettle belonging to my brother. After moving the Tuck Away Lid Holder and Ash Catcher to a 22 inch Original Kettle we decided it might still be salvageable. We took it by the Body Shop yesterday, and Darren thinks he can fix it.:) :)
I thought we had totaled it.  I may need to order another Lid Holder, and scrounge an Ash Catcher assembly and get it back together when Darren gets it pounded out.

Ouch! I'm sure that the dent can be pounded out but the porcelain around that area will likely chip off. Like Craig side, please post a pic of the before and after.
