Post 1000! :D

FINALLY breaking in the Weber CI wok that I got for a steal of a price from the C&B outlet clearance about a year and half ago.  Nothing too fancy, just some quick fajitas.  No real planning, simply made 'em from what was in the fridge.

Getting up to temp with last of my Coshell  :(

Top sirloin in the wok... dusted with Penzey's taco seasoning

Red bell, 'shrooms, onions

...add a little homemade, wife's secret recipe, spicy-spicy salsa...

wrap, and devour!

I haven't ever cooked using a Wok before... looking forward to giving it more use!

That's looks delicious! The more I see people using woks the more I want one. They are very versatile.

Looks good.

Interesting use of firebricks. I have thinner ones (they are "reclaimed" and likely from the side of a building, but solid clay) and if I did that they'd just soak up the heat too much, probably. Mine seem to reduce heat about as much as they insulate/block heat.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I love my wok, I need to break it out again this week for some stir-fry.
