That's really cool. Any idea on the age? Is there any way to date the gas kettles?

Did the gas kettles always have the louvered lids or did they start out with a lid vent?

I'd say that's an early 80's base model, the deluxe had igniter and tank scale
Is this one staying in the collection Harris?

That is an awesome color.  I think I spotted one of those in the same color on the patio of an apartment near me this past weekend.  I'll have to go back and take another look.

Those gas kettles are so cool. I'd never saw one until I found this forum. Now I'm always on the look out

Yes, this was picked up by the Midnight Rider on his run through the Midwest. He brought back this gasser for me, NOS steer head, and a van packed full of goodies.  A very successful trip for the ATL. :)
