Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin with Noodles
« on: February 26, 2015, 12:25:05 PM »
Started with 2 pork tenderloins

Trimmed the silver skin and cut them into medallions

Marinated the pork in Teriyaki sauce with some garlic and ginger

Cut some veggies for the noodles

Fired up the Disc and stir fried the veggies and added shredded cabbage

Then the Japanese style noodles

Stir fried them and added some soy and teriyaki sauce and spices

Topped with green onions and sesame seeds

Stir-fried the green beans

And added garlic and Teriyaki Glaze

Cooked the Pork Medallions last

Added some of the reserved marinade and let them cook all the way through

Added the Teriyaki glaze last

The cooking is done

And dinner is served :)

I always have so much fun cooking on the Disc  :)

Looks like weber nolonger mskes this wok, what was the going price when new? New that I learned that ave hardware is a nice place to hunt for old stuff,I found one. Not sure if it was the manager but I asked him of this was $50. Wanting to know of it was on clearance but he said $50. Box was all faded. They had one of those performers with the 2 side tables. Those are pretty nice. Wondering if I should get it.
I should add the cook looks awesome, reason why I am now interested in this.

@Sramsey

That's a gas-fire discada.......probably not a Weber product.......

( ^^^^ thread is coincidentally by JeepDad, the guy I learn Drip Beans from....)

If the item down at your hardware store is a large (24") Wok in a Weber box....for $50.....JUMP ON IT !!!!!!

Thanks Sramesy :D
1buckie is correct, the Disc I use is a 24” Disc called Cowboy Wok. I got it from the following link
http://www.lonestargrillz.com/
I like its concave shape because it gives me a 5” depth from the lip to the center. This allows me t o cook with sauces and liquids.
I have used it several times on my 22.5 kettle. I just use metal brackets to elevate it off the grill edge. In this picture I was using it to cook rice for Paella. The Disk looks like it’s obstructing the grill top, but it’s not since it has a concave bottom, it’s not visible form this angle because I shot the picture from the top.
