Turn your mechanism so the corners aren't visible through the vents

Tried that, and it still shows. I like the blacked out look for now, and have to come up with a way to wall mount it.. A little Velcro square would do the trick. This might go to work with me on Monday.

Stopped by a local Goodwill and found a better mechanism, with a second hand and a wall-bracket - made in USA even. The swap out took minutes:

Would love to do that! I'll have to look into sourcing the mechs, but the issue I have with modern vents is that they don't say MADE IN U.S.A. anymore. Maybe I need to convince Weber to make us some custom WKC vents!
