@zavod44 what do you have that would look good on a '74 Yachtsman?  Hit me up, I'd like to order one along with a set for a dark older blue MT.

I'd recommend osage orange wood for the Blue.

Do you have a picture of the osage orange handle on a blue?  Just curious how it looks and more importantly does @zavod44 have any for sale?

Zavod,

Howdy. Looking for three handles for my new charcoal Go-Anywhere. This is going to be a "go to the beach grill", what kind of wood species do you recommend-- because I'll take it (if available)

Thanks.

@Bob BQ Fantastic combo.

Something cool about the Osage orange wood... when I first got them, they were a much lighter, yellowish color. My blue grill was under cover for a couple of months, and in that time, the wood darkened to the brown that you see above.  @zavod44, I mentioned this to you at the meet up.

Here are some before pics:

Has anyone heard from zavod lately? I know he was busy with the annual get together but I haven't got a message returned in a few weeks. Not in a huge rush but I gotta get me some handles for this ssp restoration!

He's around. Use his screen name like this when you want to get his attention: @zavod44

Like many of us that offer parts and such on the site, it's a side-gig that takes time and energy. If it was easy and profitable, we'd all be retired. Patience is rewarded.
