I Thought it was a Weber
« on: December 14, 2014, 11:06:11 AM »
My brother was the agent for this 18", and he paid only $10. That was early in November, but, I finally got my hands on it.

There was only one pic in the ad, and I thought I saw a double-rivet on the lid handle … Wrong.  :-\ :-\

I don't know what brand it is. Only a "K" on the lid vent.

Anybody have any ideas??

It's a Sears economy kettle made by weber.

Thanks, guys!

Would it be safe to assume that the "K" indicates 1988, as it would a true Weber branded kettle?

All the vents are fastened with nut and bolt. The bowl vents need to be re-shaped. Needs a real good cleaning.
Not sure yet if I will keep it.  ??? ???

For 10 bucks Mac.....that is still very fine. Especially given it's age.
