Planning my visit to Oz
« on: October 30, 2014, 04:48:16 AM »
Grillfellas,
Next month I'm going to Australia to visit my sis-in-law.  She's on a 3 month gig with Coca-Cola in Sydney.  I'll be there about 10 days with my wife and daughter.  Thought I'd solicit some advice:

1. Would love to have a beer with any of our Aussie members who live near Sydney.  If you're out there, PM me!

2. Is there anything Weber that can only be sourced Down Under?  What should I shop for while I'm there?

Thanks, JJ

A Flattop
A gas conversion kit
A kettle gasser

Hmmm, all gas related.

Better bring a cargo container with you

I'd start looking here:

http://www.gumtree.com.au/

I can only wish the used site up here in Canada had the depth of choices that Gumtree site has.

Sounds like an offer I can't refuse!  I'll PM you.  Caveat: I'll have three ladies with me - my wife, my daughter(14), and my wife's single twin sister!

This is awesome guys!  Looks like I'll get to meet several great grillfellas.  My sis-in-law lives at Harbourside Apartments - McMahons Point.  We'll be staying with her.

We'll be there Nov. 20 - Dec. 2.

P.S. kendoll - your PM mailbox is full  :o
