Rotisserie Wings
« on: November 06, 2014, 02:49:57 PM »
All this talk about wings got me hungry for some :)
So here are the wings I did on my Greek rotisserie grill (Souvla grill)
I locked the wings into triangle by folding the tips over the drumsticks

Applied a simple rub to the wings and then threaded them on the three large spits and started cooking :D

Enjoyed the nice breeze with a cold beverage while the rotis did all the hard work
Half way through the cooking

I brushed the wings on 2 spits with Buffalo wing sauce when they were fully cooked. I put the corn on the Kabob rotisserie below after the chicken wings were fully cooked. I just need to get the sauces set on the chicken, so I kept them on

On the third spit, I used an Oriental sweet chili chicken sauce, which I added some soy sauce to offset the sweetness

The cooking was done :D

And the wings plated
Buffalo Wings

Hot and Sweet Wings

Perfect finger food for kicking back on the deck and enjoying a cold beer :)

Are you sure that's not a foosball table?

You bastige! Way to just take it to another level. 3 spits, with room in the basement for corn or whateva.

(staggers off to Google kabab 'b 'que)
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
