URGENT: Clear your private message.

There's like 50,000 private messages stored on the server.
Queries are slowing down and the server is running out of space.

On October 31, I'm going to implement limit to the number of private messages stored on the server.
The limit will likely be 100.

Anyone with more than 100 will not be able to send or receive private messages.

All clear. Didn't have too many but every little bit helps. My wife's email has 23k messages in it, and it drives me crazy. I was wondering about the error message I saw this morning on the homepage. Good luck with the clean up.

The error was unrelated, just me writing bad code in a live environment.

There IS an export function under the Actions menu, but it exports in XML - so you'll need to style it or to import it somewhere to be able to really read it.

Pruning removed a few hundred.

Export worked. It's searchable, which is all I need.

That's a great question.
I am pretty sure it only applies to inbox.
I will set the limit soon and we'll figure it out.
