They see it the wrong way... as if they're buckets or ladders. No, my friend, these are my collection and I know what all their birthdays are.

Well I use two almost every time I cook.  Two 22 Performers.  And sometimes 18" gets called up.  But some nights I just use the 18" for pizza as it just seems to cook them better.  So I could not get away with less than two.  But I also cook on them at least 7 times a week..

Cooking tonight's dinner on two 26 kettles.

I think the most I've used at once was five 22s and a 26. That was an extreme example though.

I tell my wife that I need both 26rs and twelve 22s.

Another way to look at is...how many burners does your range have?  How about the oven?  Single or double?  Microwave?

I usually cook on one 22.5" kettle, frequently on two, and for my son's homecoming dinner this year, three. You can't cook pork loin, chicken thighs, and veggies in a wok on less than three kettles!

@1buckie, ABTs with Butter Pecan ice cream? You are a mad, sick, freaky genius! NTTAWWT! What were the ABTs stuffed with?
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

@Harbormaster

The upper one is vanilla bean w/ probably tandoori spiced cream cheese & the little ones are habanero / blueberry's

The lower on might be straight cream cheese w/ maybe chicken br. strips......

Almost forgot.....'Turds 'a'la Mode............. 8)

I don't understand the question:

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

I've had two 22's and my 18 going at the same time many times.  My dream scenario would be to host a potluck and have a dozen 22's lined up for guest use.

I am not up to running more than 1 or 2 kettles yet, at least I don't think so!  I can barely keep up with one tri-tip or chicken on the grill I have! :)

Awesome pics above, btw!

I have my first grill I use all the time my Platinum Performer and in case I needed more room I have a 22" OTG.  For just heating and mainly if my grand daughter wanted something quick I just bought a Silver Genesis in blue for those quick hotdogs.  These are the ones I use all the time.  A few times I year I will have two or all three going depending on how many people are eating.  Thanksgiving will be when I use all three at the same time.
Platinum Performer Kettle (In Blue), OTG (In Blue)
Genesis Gasser (In Blue), Smokey Joe (Uline Lime)
Looking to buy (18.5 blue or brownie and blue lantern)

I may do veggies on an 18, main meal on the 22, but when I'm feeling all '50s-'60s demo guy, I do it all on a 22 or my 26. Theres no such thing as too many.. ;)
