Weber uses MAP pricing (they control the prices) - but on amazon, sellers are entitled to list a product for any price higher than MAP controlled.

The ones listed now aren't in stock, and they probably won't ship until december. Once the product is fulfilled by amazon, it will use the actual price and be available from the other sellers for whatever their price demands are.

Kind of odd that the copper is cheaper than the black at least for preordering today, since black is weber's general color but if you were looking to order a new copper then I am sure you don't mind.  Not in the market but will defiantly be at the hardware store next spring just to check it out, at least in theory I like them going back to a metal table and that bale holding the lid straight up is just a huge improvement on a great grill.
