Update :

The plot thickens.......

I'm scraping & scraping (came up with an Imperial half gallon of waste activated sludge, pics to follow), the wife comes out, asks : "Who's grill is this now?".......me being the honest Richard Cranium that I am says : " Well, Alvin wants me to have it !!"..................

Massive eye rolls....several of them, as she's walking back in the house...... ::) ::) ::)  :o:o :o

So, I had stuff that got partly prepared for the big e-cook & I say, let me cook you dinner dear.....thngs are slightly better, plus the expenditure wasn't that much.....more than her $1 trivet she got at the 2nd hand store, but not much......

More pics & dinner in the next set.......

One small dent in the ash pan :

One major bang on the front edge & there's the usual chipping at points around the lid....

Dug down to the bottom & there's 52 or whatever year old porcelain there, good as new.....

Wheels are real clean....hardly any miles on the tread......

Some of the Waste Activated Sludge I took off the insides......

Almost filled the container here.....

After this, the wife starts thinking out loud.....

"We need some big 'ol fat ribeyes so it looks like there's something actually going on there....."

Then I told her what I suggested to Winz for the 1st cookup on the Westerner......
