Meeting a Grillfella!

Yesterday my Wife and i got to meet with BigRix  at his place to pick up a part that he had for me and to buy a Green OTG that he had for sale.  We visited for a bit heard the backstory on a grill ogled his 26" Brownie (thought about trying to distract him long enough to make off with it, but decided not to!  ) and his plan for an ash pan for it. After money,grill and parts were exchanged we B.Sed for a bit, then it was time to head for home to finish running errands.

Glad to have met BigRix and looking forward to other get togethers with the rest of the Arizona group!

Guys, I was just thinking about this last night actually.  We do need a meet up.  Is November too late?

In AZ, All of us have met most of us but none of us have met all of us.

A few G-fellas came by last November for a get together at the park down the street from me. Popped my pig cherry, and lots of other items were produced. We could duplicate that, although it would take an extraordinary achievement to better it. Great weather, great friends, great food. But I'm willing to give it a shot!

I'm up for  mid Nov. time frame, just need a time and place. Kris has suggested a park near him where he did a pig on his smoker so....

I am up for meet up. There are a lot of us in the state. Mid November would work for me as lomg as it is pretty close to valley  just in case of emergency at work. Give me a time and date and if I need to help in any of the planning.
